According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais’s appraisal in 2021 is about €600–€2000 for his paintings and multiples, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A voracious and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism to Rauchenberg or De Kooning, to matter projections in the style of Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage, or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, who roam the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains always this physical painting, this material worked by the body, testimony to the artist’s intimate monologue. Artist represented at the gallery Les couleurs de l’éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutchart in the Netherlands. Listed by Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau, Moldova, Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon (Paul Bocuse Abbey) gala evening 2023. Paris private collection gallery Île Saint Louis since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries in Belgium, USA, Italy and Portugal since 2019.
