According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais's market value in 2021 ranged from approximately €600 to €2,000 for his paintings and multiple prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism in the style of Rauschenberg or de Kooning, to matter projections in the manner of Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or the expressionism of Karel Appel, who walk the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation.
But his signature remains this physical painting, this material worked by the body, a testament to the artist's intimate monologue.
