Description from the seller

Fantastic cover by the great Peter Pontiac!

This is a cover he made for a collection of punk songs, Texas Flashback No. 4 — 1997.

The work is professionally framed. I find it a pity to remove it, so I’m sending it with the frame. I will seal the glass with tape and pack it very carefully—clearly.

The piece inside the mat measures 26 x 20 cm — the overall size is 37 x 33 cm.

Peter Pontiac was a Dutch illustrator and comic artist. He drew underground comics, posters, and album covers.

Pontiac was closely involved with the Dutch punk scene. During the time he was addicted to heroin, he lived as a squatter with other punks and designed many covers for punk bands. The alter egos Gaga and Gigi that appeared in his comics were modeled on his own life with his girlfriend at the time. Many of Pontiac's punk drawings for album covers and concert posters were published by the publisher Oog & Blik in the Pontiac Review series.

CD cover shown for reference — the CD is not part of the lot.
