Elegant and rare pair of busts depicting *Saint Peter and Saint Paul*, *petrified marmorina stone*, a smooth and compact material, *not plaster nor scagliola* – therefore *ideal also for outdoor display*.

Both busts are mounted on fine marble pedestals in *excellent condition*. The sculptures show *defined features and attention to detail*, the work of skilled hands, probably *an Italian sculptor active in the mid-20th century* (*approximate period: 1940s–1960s*).
