It is a very interesting oil on cardboard in very good condition and framed with a gilded frame.
Born May 24, 1925 in Marseille, Jacques Van den Bussche is successively a student of the École des beaux-arts de Marseille in 1943 and of the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris in 1945[2]. He had his first solo exhibitions in Casablanca in 1952 and 1954[2] and then, settled at 2, Square Gabriel-Fauré in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, he became in 1961, with notably Philippe Cara Costea, Jack Chambrin, Georges Feher and Alain Mongrenier, one of the permanent artists of the Galerie Jean-Claude Bellier in Paris.
