The painting is rolled for safe transport and carefully protected in a sturdy art or shipping tube. This shipping method provides optimal protection, reduces shipping risk, and is also more cost-effective and environmentally friendly than shipping on a stretched canvas.
The canvas has an additional edge of about 5 cm on each side, so the work can be easily re-stretched onto a stretcher frame with a thickness of up to 2 cm upon receipt.

About the work:
This original work comes from Fredi Gertsch's studio. The piece combines elements of Pop Art, Street Art and contemporary painting. Bold colors, spontaneous gestural strokes and a distinctive visual language define the work and give it a strong visual presence.

This work is an original one-off piece. Every work by Fredi Gertsch is created in a distinct creative process and is unique. There are no reproductions, prints or further editions of this motif.

The works are handmade and are characterized by individual textures, color gradients, brush marks, overlays and other characteristic features of the artistic creation process. Such inherent properties are part of the original and are not defects.

A return due to such artistic characteristics is excluded.

About the artist:
Fredi Gertsch is a Swiss contemporary painter with a studio and exhibition space in the historic town center of Burgdorf. Since 2021 he works at Kronenplatz in a spacious ground-floor studio with four large shop windows, where visitors can regularly experience his current works in their original form.

His art fuses Pop Art and Street Art aesthetics with narrative visual worlds. Animals, humans and everyday symbols become protagonists of multi-layered stories about nature, society and human coexistence. Humor, optimism and a distinctive use of color characterize his works.

Many works originate freely from imagination, others develop from digital sketches that are consciously altered, abstracted and further developed during the painting process. The result is always an independent original with a personal handwriting.
