AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

The Bond explores the invisible connections that give meaning to individual existence. Each form appears independent, yet none can stand alone. Together they create a delicate balance—a reminder that strength is often born not from isolation, but from connection.
The sculpture invites reflection on the relationships, memories, and experiences that shape who we are. What seems separate at first becomes, upon closer inspection, a single unified whole.
The Bond is part of an open series. Each sculpture is individually handcrafted, welded, assembled, and finished entirely by hand, making every piece subtly unique.

Dimensions: 58 × 16 × 16 cm
Material: Iron
The sculpture is finished in a satin black coating enhanced with silver metallic glitter, creating subtle reflections and depth that change with the surrounding light.

Artist Information

Education: Self-taught artist.
Exhibitions: I develop my artistic practice independently.
Awards: I have not received official awards.
Residencies: I have not participated in artistic residencies.

My work focuses on creating unique pieces situated between sculpture and functional object, with a strong emphasis on materiality, structure, and durability. I create sculptural furniture in concrete and iron, combining function with sculptural form, strongly influenced by Brutalism. My practice explores geometry, structure, and material presence, creating works that investigate balance, repetition, and visual impact within space.

Packaging and Shipping

The artwork will be carefully packaged using appropriate protective materials to ensure safe transportation.

Respect for the artist’s work and for the platform helps maintain a fair and meaningful experience for both buyers and sellers

Certificate of Authenticity

The sculpture will be shipped with a signed certificate of authenticity issued by the artist.

Seller's Story

Wallavibe – D.B is an independent sculptural workshop where brutalism, geometry, and industrial memory are transformed into contemporary functional art. I grew up in an environment where concrete walls were thicker than words, and objects were created not for beauty, but for durability. The images of my childhood — grey housing blocks, massive furniture, rough surfaces, iron, wood, and concrete — left a deep mark on the way I think and create. It was a world where form always followed function, and aesthetics emerged from necessity rather than excess. These memories and experiences became the foundation of my work. The brutalist tables and sculptures I create today are both a direct response to that past and a dialogue with the present. I am inspired by monumentality, weight, exposed structure, and honest materials. I do not try to hide or soften them; instead, I allow them to speak for themselves. My works are an act of resistance against fast consumption. They are not created for temporary trends or seasonal tastes, but for permanence. These are objects that demand presence, time, and a relationship with the person who lives with them. They are made not to be replaced, but to remain — to age together with the space and the individual. Each piece exists at the boundary between furniture and sculpture, between function and silence. They are solid objects — sometimes uncomfortable, sometimes provocative — inviting the viewer to pause and feel the weight, texture, and history of the material. My work explores the relationship between memory, matter, and permanence in an increasingly accelerated world.
