Relief, Boeddha - 35 cm - Copper

This is a Nepalese copper votive plaque (repoussé) from the late 20th century, featuring a seated Buddha in the center. The artwork contains 16 surrounding panels depicting important events and legends from the life of Buddha. There is a small tear in the relief, see photo.
