Description from the seller
Original painting by Anton Heyboer (1994) – Unique provenance
For sale: a particularly original work by the renowned Dutch artist Anton Heyboer.
This painting, presumably acrylic, measures about 78 x 107 cm and dates from 1994. What makes this work exceptional is the documented and personal provenance.
In 1994 I visited Anton Heyboer in De Ilp, where I had the honour to personally interview him for an article that was later published in De Stijl, the journal of HICO. The original article is still in my possession and can be provided as additional documentation of the painting's provenance.
During this visit, Anton Heyboer created this painting, and a few others, especially for me. It is therefore a work obtained directly from the artist, with a unique background and a direct link to the artist himself. Such works with personal provenance are particularly attractive to collectors and lovers of Heyboer's oeuvre.
The painting is not framed, giving the new owner full freedom in presenting the work. Thanks to the generous size of 78 x 107 cm, the painting has an impressive presence and forms a striking artwork within any collection or interior.
Upon serious interest, additional photos of the work and a copy of the article published at the time can be provided.
Main features:
Original work by Anton Heyboer

A rare opportunity to acquire an authentic work by Anton Heyboer with an exceptionally personal and documented backstory.
