Description from the seller
"Two hearts"
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage to Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects have been crafted with elaborate handwork.
This is not about symmetry or perfection of the sculpture for me, but rather a reflection of human diversity with all its differences.
Hand-signed
The ultramarine blue color is produced by me personally from pigment in a specific recipe.
Thanks to this recipe, this blue is matte, velvety in surface, and absorbs light.
This means that the less light falls on the sculpture, the more intensely the blue shines.
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life. An essential feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising that we know.
The subjects used are torn from their original context, altered by me and thereby given a new life as "art objects".
