About the artist
María Manuela Gerosa Bähler (Buenos Aires, 1978) is an Argentine visual artist based in Barcelona. Her practice moves between painting and ceramics, exploring the relationship between matter, memory, landscape and symbolism.
Since 2015 she has maintained continuous artistic production, with presence in exhibitions, curatorial projects and art fairs. Simultaneously, she runs Bähler Studio in Barcelona, a space dedicated to artistic creation and research in contemporary ceramics.
Her work is characterized by a poetic approach to materials and by the search for a visual language that connects the everyday with the essential. Her works are part of private collections in Europe, Asia and the United States.
