Description from the seller
-WORK DETAILS-
Bolonia rises from the memory of a place where the sea and the horizon seem to suspend the passage of time. Inspired by the Cádiz coast, the work transports the viewer to a space of calm and contemplation, where deep blues evoke the vastness of the ocean and golden reflections recall the last light of the day brushing the sand. The textures and spontaneous gestures capture the changing beauty of the landscape and the emotional imprint it leaves on those who contemplate it.
In an era defined by speed and an excess of stimuli, Bolonia invites us to recover silence and reconnect with what is essential. Beyond portraying a place, the work speaks to the human need to stop, breathe, and remember that true serenity is often found in the immensity of the sea and in those moments that feel eternal.
Belongs to the abstract works collection “Textures.”
THE WORK IS DELIVERED WITHOUT A STRETCHER, rolled in a reinforced PVC tube to ensure safe and more economical delivery. Once you receive the artwork, it will be rolled inside the tube, which opens with a screw for added security, and wrapped in bubble wrap. After opening it, I recommend taking it to a specialist to stretch it and mount the frame. The piece with margins included measures 87 x 85 cm.
It is signed on the back and front with the completion date and a certificate of authenticity rolled up with the artwork.
The colors of the work vary slightly depending on the room lighting, adding dynamism and adaptability to the environment. These photos were taken indoors in a house with warm light. In addition, the piece features a satin finish varnish for greater durability and quality.
-BIOGRAPHY COBER-
Cober is a 26-year-old Madrid-based artist who has forged a unique path in the art world, blending his urban heritage with a passion for figurative expression. His career began in graffiti, where he created street-level murals that stood out for their mastery of space and their ability to capture the essence of portraits. These monumental works, ranging from 10 m² to 500 m², allowed him to perfect his technique and connect with Madrid’s urban environment, marking the start of an artistic journey that defines him to this day.
Today, Cober takes his art beyond the streets, transferring his talent to large-format canvases. He masterfully combines spray, acrylic, and plastic paints to create works that reflect the richness and depth of figurative art. His style developed after a period of exploration in which he sought ways to unite his graffiti experience with a more introspective and sophisticated expression. This journey led him to focus on the representation of women, figures that occupy a central place in his work. Cober finds in them a unique, almost indescribable beauty that transcends words and becomes the axis of his artistic practice.
With a palette dominated by neutral tones and touches of gold, his compositions convey elegance and emotional depth that invites reflection. For Cober, each portrait is a search to capture the feminine essence, exploring the diversity, strength, and vulnerability that define his subjects.
Eyes are a recurring and fascinating element in his work. For Cober, they represent the reflection of the soul and the feature that most defines a person. In every gaze he captures, he seeks a silent dialogue with the viewer, a connection that allows him to convey stories, emotions, and fragments of life. This attention to detail and his sensitivity to capture the intangible have defined his artistic identity.
Throughout his career, Cober has had the opportunity to bring his art to unique settings. He has created live works at the emblematic Circuito del Jarama, a place filled with adrenaline and automotive passion. He has also worked at the Porsche dealership in Majadahonda, where he fused the sophistication of Porsche cars with the expressive power of his art, creating pieces that capture the essence of the brand. His participation in graffiti competitions has also been notable, winning important contests and establishing himself as a reference in the urban space.
With a versatile technique and a unique sensibility, Cober continues to explore the limits of his art, always seeking new ways to express himself. His work not only connects with viewers but also leaves an indelible mark on every surface it transforms, whether on an urban facade or a carefully worked canvas.
