There are moments that exist only for an instant, but linger in memory much longer. “Flash” arises from this idea of sudden intensity: an event, an emotion, or a perception that emerges abruptly and transforms the way we observe what surrounds us.
The composition is built through layers of color, gesture and movement that converge at a point of maximum visual energy. Vibrant tones of red, yellow and blue traverse the surface of the canvas like beams of light, creating a sense of constant expansion. The shapes seem to emerge and disappear simultaneously, like fragments captured in a brief moment before dissolving again.
Between the spontaneity of the gesture and the structure of the different layers, the work explores the speed with which information, images and emotions circulate in contemporary life. Like a flash, everything happens in a minimal interval of time, but leaves a lasting mark on the observer's perception.
“Flash” invites reflection on the ephemeral nature of experience and on those moments of sudden clarity when everything seems to align for a second. A brief, intense instant impossible to ignore.
