Mortima - Unknown - 1950-1959

Mortima brand watch, French manufacture, city of Morteau, Alpine border town with Switzerland.
Mechanical wind-up movement, 17 jewels, serviced, functioning perfectly, keeping time very accurately.
18k gold plating on both the watch and the chain.
On the dial, at the 12 o'clock position you can see that the number 1 is almost erased; to its left there are stains inherent to the passage of time.
The crystal is original, it also shows some imperfections.
As for the gold plating, it is in very good condition, in my view, gold plating from the 1950s.
The chain measures 25 cm.
The case is camel-colored velvet, from a jeweler in Frankfurt.
Early 1950s, it has been stored for more than 40 years, very lightly used.
