Edition number: 09/100
Artist: SKE
Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris
Artist paper 300 g – ISO A3 format – Signed, numbered – Certificate included
The Inter-Galactic Misunderstanding!
SKE stages here the clash of cultures: Goldorak, the defender of Earth, against Gaston Lagaffe, the champion of laziness and short circuits. The giant robot is clearly burnouted in the face of the gaffeur’s latest electrical bricolage, the shockwave being merely a mechanical cry of despair. Proof that a simple intern can cause more damage than a Vega empire fleet. An electric and explosive work.
Style: The artist blends traditional comic book inking (clear line) with the raw energy of street art. The drips and splashes of bright colors place this icon of Japanese animation and this Franco-Belgian hero on a city wall, in a dynamic and ironic mash-up.
Features:
• Limited edition of 100 copies
• Printed on premium 300 g art paper
• ISO A3 format, easy to frame
• Each copy signed and numbered by SKE
• Delivered with certificate of authenticity
• Protected shipping, reinforced packaging
“Fulguropoing 404” is a vibrant and joyful piece, designed for collectors who love pop art, reimagined comics, and works that tell a story.
A rare edition that will undoubtedly become a flagship element of your collection.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist with a hands-on approach who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has risen noticeably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" in October, and he also had a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues across Europe, the United States, and Asia, solidifying his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE has also established himself in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture play characterize a style now indispensable.
SKE is undeniably an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Awarded & Respected Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His linework shows the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to parody the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawn from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates the icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY
In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the aesthetics of “Hype”: sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to forget mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art with textures that evoke the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
