Description from the seller

"D’oh! It’s Jaws" – Limited Edition (100 copies) - New collection 2026
Edition number: 08/100
Artist: SKE
Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris
Art paper 300 g/m² – ISO A3 format – Signed, numbered – Certificate included

In D’oh! It’s Jaws, SKE reinterprets the iconic Jaws scene by replacing the shark with Homer Simpson. The danger is no longer an invisible predator, but a yellow, massive, clumsy presence.

Underwater, Homer bursts up where you least expect him. Above, Marge and Bart swim calmly, nonchalant, as if nothing were happening. The contrast is total: the threat exists, but no one seems to take it seriously.

With humor, SKE turns fear into absurdity. What used to give you chills becomes an almost familial situation. The suspense fades, replaced by an immediate smile.

Pop touch, self-assured cinematic references and energy mark a light and effective work.

A scene that recalls that sometimes the real danger isn’t what we fear… but what we know too well.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-around creative who grew up in 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large majority of his artworks.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with a double meaning, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master competition (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" in October, and has also had a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, strengthening his place on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE has also established himself in the digital art market, a major trend in the last two years, boosting the appeal of his creations to collectors.

Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture plays define a style that is now essential.

SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.

Awarded & Recognized Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art

A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line recalls the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to reinterpret the Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.

POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He scenes Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo’s world and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories like a Daniel Arsham or a Takashi Murakami.

LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist toys with codes of success and materialism. The dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textures that evoke the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.

This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
