- On March 11, 1984, Serge Gainsbourg burned a 500-franc bill live on television. This famous provocation was intended to alert public opinion to the tax pressure he claimed to be a victim of. Appreciating this artist for his career, his vision and his positions, I want to pay homage to him today through this work.

SKE is a self-taught, versatile French artist who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large majority of his artistic works.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double readings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE's market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Artist of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
