The figurine is in perfect condition. It has no scratches or any breakage; it is like new.
The statuette is attributed to Archimede Seguso (Murano, December 17, 1909 – Murano, September 6, 1999), considered "a living encyclopedia of glass" (as defined by Giuseppe Cappa, in the book “Le Genie Verrier de L’Europe”, pp. 471, 510, and 511). He was one of the most renowned Venetian glassmakers, excelling in the processing of heavy (solid) glass.

La statuina è attribuito ad Archimede Seguso(Murano, 17 dicembre 1909 – Murano, 6 settembre 1999), considerato "un'enciclopedia vivente del vetro" (così è definito da Giuseppe Cappa, nel libro “Le Genie Verrier de L’Europe”, pagg. 471, 510, e 511), è stato uno dei più noti vetrai Veneziani, distinguendosi nella lavorazione del vetro pesante (a massello).
