Bed sheet - 2.4 m - 1.92 cm

Large plain piece in cotton canvas with a decoration on the back of a frieze 9 cm from the edge of the stitch known as “Venice eyelet,” of a width of 1 cm. In the center a monogram bordered with the stitch called “flat chain stitch,” uppercase letters “CA” surrounded by a garland of foliage and knots – same stitch. A small frieze on each side in the Venice eyelet stitch. Embroidery measures 15 cm high by 28 cm wide. No mill mark; certainly a production from a Vosges mill — cradle of household linen. New – traces of folding – still starched. Length 2.40 m – width 1.92 m for a weight of 1 kg.
