Splendid and large vintage rectangular tablecloth in fine white fabric, decorated with a refined blue cutwork embroidery (Richelieu style / cutwork embroidery). The design is elegant and perfectly balanced: in the center unfolds a large open rectangular motif with stylized rosette flowers, leaves and sinuous branches that repeat symmetrically along all sides. The edges are finely worked with a bevelled hem and perforations that create a beautiful bright and refined lace effect. The contrast between the whiteness of the fabric and the blue of the embroidery gives a classic and sophisticated charm, typical of European table linens from the mid-20th century.
