Silver - Pendant

Old religious silver medal, front and back, depicting Christ crowned with thorns on one side and the Virgin Mary on the other.

This medal stands out for the quality of its execution and its strong relief, giving real depth to the faces and the drapery. The two sides are finely sculpted and show particularly meticulous workmanship.

It bears the signature 'Penin-Poncet', a Lyon-based house renowned for producing high-quality religious medals.

Silver hallmark present. The metal has also been tested with the appropriate acid.
