Description from the seller
The Flemish weekly magazine under the title Vrouw en Huis appeared for the first time in 1948, following the earlier publication De Vrouw from the Catholic publisher De Vlijt. From 1951, sewing patterns were added and a sequel novel was introduced, alongside the usual fashion, beauty, and kitchen tips. Weekly also a cartoon for the children and attention to a family film. In 1965 the publication was discontinued and integrated into the magazine Zie Magazine.
This offer concerns a compilation of the 26 weekly magazines, each 48 pages, from January 7 to July 1, 1950.
The weekly gives a good idea of the lifestyle of a Catholic family in the fifties. Admittedly, those were wholesome, different times.
