19th Century Faience Inkwell Stand
Elegant 19th-century faience inkwell stand, richly modelled in the Rococo taste and decorated with delicate hand-painted floral motifs in brown tones. The piece comprises a shaped stand with two removable inkwells and original covers, raised on scrolling feet and finished with an ornate backplate.
A charming example of decorative faience, combining functionality and craftsmanship, reflecting the refined aesthetics of the period. Such writing accessories were once an essential feature of well-appointed desks and studies.

Good overall antique condition. The stand remains structurally sound and displays beautifully.
