6 volumes, octavo, 20 cm x 12.5 cm, bound in tawny calf with period binding, smooth spine ornamented, title and volume labels in red morocco, roulette framing the boards, fillets on the edges, jaspered edges, [4]-519-1 bl.; [4]-576; [4]-557-1 bl.; [2]-550; [4]-776; [4]-704 pages. Worn headcaps, rubbing, title doubled with restoration at the head, rare foxing. Very good condition.
New edition of the famous edition with Antoine Bret’s commentary.
