AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

"Bluried Vision" by the Portuguese artist Nomen (Nuno Reis, 1974-2022).

This magnificent art print captures the very essence of Nomen's signature style.

At the heart of the composition is the captivating gaze of a woman, whose face organically blends with an abstract and dynamic graffiti lettering. The artist uses a striking contrast between photorealism in the portrait and the wild spontaneity of the color drips and tags intrinsic to street art.

This piece testifies to Nomen's ability to fuse aesthetic sensitivity with the raw energy of wildstyle graffiti.

Artist biography:

Nuno Reis, known by the pseudonym Nomen, is a historic and legendary figure in street art in Portugal.

Beginning to leave his mark on walls as early as 1989, he was part of the very first wave of graffiti artists in the country. Self-taught, he developed a remarkable aerosol technique, blending complex urban lettering, typographic mastery, and portraits with striking realism.

Over the course of his career, his art has crossed borders beyond Portugal to be shown internationally (France, United Kingdom, Germany, Israel, Panama...).

Sadly passing in 2022, Nomen leaves behind a colossal artistic legacy. His works, now scarce, command very strong demand and constant revaluation on the secondary market of contemporary urban art.
