Description from the seller
The name Glashütter Tradition, with its far-reaching history, was revived in 1998 by D. Dornblüth with the entry “Glashütter Tradition Dornblüth” in the German Patent and Trade Mark Office. In 2009, the Glashütter Tradition brand was strengthened again through an acquisition, with a focus on single- and small-series production. This approach underscored the brand’s commitment to exclusivity and artisanal quality. Despite the renown and recognition Glashütter Tradition received for its high-quality watches, production was discontinued at a later stage. The cessation of watchmaking marks the end of a significant chapter in the brand’s history, though its influence on watchmaking craft and its traditions continues to endure.
This Aviator Convert model dates from 2016. (old stock) Convert refers to the bracelet.
