A lacquered wooden Jingasa helmet, 39 × 39 × 8 cm, bearing a crest of five mokko pine blossoms, possibly dating from the late Edo or Meiji/Taisho periods, in good vintage condition with age‑related wear.

This is a Jingasa(helmet). Possibly from the late Edo period or Meiji/Taisho
It is made of wood and lacquered, and features a crest of five mokko pine blossoms.
Given the crest of five mokko blossoms(五つ木瓜松の角字紋), it may have been used by a samurai serving under Oda Nobunaga(織田信長).
Dimensions: 39 x 39 x 8 cm
