Large bronze statue named 'Mercury' (Hermes), which represents the messenger of the gods. Placed on a cylindrical pedestal of black marble.

The original sculpture is kept in the Museo Nazionale del Bargello in Florence.
A 17th-century model in the Duke of Brissac's collection was moved to the Louvre in Paris around the 20th century.

Dimensions: height 43 cm, base diameter 14 cm.

Het originele beeld wordt bewaard in het Museo Nazionale del Bargello in Florence. 
Een model uit de 17e eeuw in de collectie van de hertog van Brissac werd rond de 20e eeuw bewaard in het Louvre in Parijs.
