Cruydt-Boeck, according to its latest improvements: With additions after each Chapter, from various herbalists: Item in the latest a Description of the Indian Plants, mainly taken from the writings of Carolus Clusius - Leiden, Plantin Press of Françoys van Ravelingen, 1608 - 2 parts - (8) 830; 831-1580 (79) pp - modern hardcover
Reasonable. Interior browned; a corner torn, a crack, about 1 to 2 cm, in the margin of about fifty pages
Part 1: New endpapers. Edges of the half-title restored, title page restored and reinforced on verso. Edges of the following pages restored/frayed. Interior browned, moisture spots on all pages: mainly damp streaks in the upper margin and moisture spots in the lower margin, on the first pp up to 250 also extending into the text and right margin (see the many photos). Wormhole (a few mm) at the bottom of the text from page 690 to the end as well as wormstreaks at the top of the text between 783 and 804
2: the original half-title missing/fotokopie bound in. Hole in the lower margin of 8 leaves. Wormhole (a few mm) at the bottom of the text (or in the engraving) from the beginning to page 981, from page 983 two wormholes to the end - between 1258 and 1329 the lower wormhole becomes a thick wormstreak of about 1 cm; from pages 1461 to 1488 a wormstreak between the two wormholes; wormstreak, 1.5 cm in the last 10 catalog leaves. Edges of 11 catalog leaves restored, edges of 12 catalog leaves frayed. Moisture spots in the lower half of all pages.
