The composition combines a wide surface in turquoise-green and aquamarine tones, worked with acrylic and delicate color overlays that evoke the movement, depth, and transparency of water. In contrast, the sky is built through soft glazes in white and pink tones that bring brightness and a sense of open space.

Horizontal lines in sand and cream hues suggest a subtle, quiet horizon, creating balance between the calm of the sky and the contained intensity of the sea. Each layer and each brushstroke seek to convey a sense of contemporary stillness and essential beauty.

About the artist:

My name is Gaby Acevedo, I am a visual artist, born in Argentina (1972). I live and produce my works in Spain. With more than 25 years of experience, I specialize in abstract art, mixed media, and collage. My artistic practice is built as a form of observation and dialogue with daily life, especially with the urban spaces I inhabit. I work across painting, photography, and other visual languages to explore how the city shapes our emotions, our memories, and our way of being in the world.
