Description from the seller
AMA • Pope (1985) - "Aurora Nova" - Louis Vuitton - 4/20
In the lineage of the original luminous works from the Aurora Borealis collection, discover "Aurora Nova," a hand-customized, limited-edition glowing sculpture of 20 units for 2025, themed around the French haute couture house Louis Vuitton (this is not an official brand object).
A strong, minimalist and contemporary sculptural presence: the elegant mirrored sphere draws the eye when off, then, once illuminated, reveals an intense and hypnotic light explosion at its core.

Aurora Nova embodies a purified, confident vision of light: a strong, direct, immersive luminous signature, conceived as a true contemporary pop artwork.

Who is Pope?
Pope, cofounder of the AMA collective, develops a unique artistic universe rooted in plastic arts since childhood, with a high standard of detail and meticulous visual research. Through sculptures, paintings, and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes, and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and wonder-filled gaze, attentive to both the simplicity and the complexity of the world around him.
Pope mainly draws inspiration from the world around him but also from movements of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few.
Whether for a gift, a keepsake, or your personal collection of contemporary art, you will easily find your favorite piece thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, Pope pursues his passion for urban art through street art (streetart) and pop art (popart) creations (limited or not), addressing a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, the harms of drugs, luxury and haute couture brands, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medicines, recycling and upcycling, products of the agro-food and fashion industries (sports, sneakers...),
Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, Pope enjoys slyly twisting labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge McDuck...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans and many others.
Dear bidders, our collective makes every effort to ensure that all information necessary to assess the sold lot is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description, and photos... After the sale, no unwarranted claims will be considered. Thank you for your understanding.
