Magnificent lot consisting of three limited editions from the legendary Islay distillery, Ardbeg. This lot represents a unique opportunity for collectors: it pairs a very rare and highly sought-after Committee Release (born from a legendary production "accident") with two of the most acclaimed annual limited editions from Ardbeg Day (2022 and 2024). History/Technical Notes: In November 2007, a sudden boiler breakdown at the distillery threatened to ruin an entire production run. Dr. Bill Lumsden decided against discarding the mash, instead ordering the washback lids to be left open, exposing the liquid to the Islay air. Fermentation lasted an astonishing 3 weeks (compared to the standard 72 hours). The result is a wild, incredibly peaty Ardbeg, beautifully balanced by unique citrus and herbal notes.
