A painting by the painter Voltolino Fontani is offered. Livorno 1920 – Livorno 1976. Oil on panel of 30x25 cm, the painting surface only. The Master's painting must be dissociated from the Scuola della Macchia. From a very young age, he attended artists in the Scuola founded by Master Beppe Guzzi, where pupils gathered, also followed by Plinio Nomellini, such as Mario Nigro, Marcello Landi, and others who had undertaken a pictorial approach close to the vanguards of the Contemporaneous art of the era. Fontani from the mid-1940s/1950s develops a painting we can define Figurative-Expressionist. We recall the GAM movement founded by him and other artists of the Avant-garde of Contemporary art. Also around the end of the 1940s, he collaborates with painters Angelo Sirio Pellegrini, the poet-painter Marcello Landi, the philologist-painter Guido Favati, and other artists on The Eiaista Manifesto. {EIAISM), Anticipating the cultural movements of the 1950s in the Atomic Era. The painting is accompanied by a beautiful contemporaneous handmade frame, to be regarded as a homage. No complaints are accepted regarding damages due to transport and this does not affect the purchase at Auction. An accurate packing and trackable shipment are guaranteed.
