Antique handmade wooden travel trunk from the period circa 1890-1915. In heavy solid wood with dovetail joints, original metal corner protectors, latches and carrying handle. The trunk has a beautiful dark red patina that has developed over more than a century.

Also suitable as a storage chest for documents, textiles or collectible objects.

Antieke handgemaakte houten reiskoffer uit de periode circa 1890-1915. Uitgevoerd in massief hout met zwaluwstaartverbindingen, originele metalen hoekbeschermers, 

sluitingen en draaggreep. De koffer heeft een prachtige donkerrode patina die in de loop van meer dan een eeuw is ontstaan.
Een decoratief object dat uitstekend past in een landelijk, industrieel of koloniaal interieur.

 Ook geschikt als opbergkist voor documenten, textiel of verzamelobjecten.
Originele gebruikssporen passend bij leeftijd en gebruik.
