FISH TIME
Original and minimalist oil painting on raw linen, WITHOUT FRAME.
Inspired by red fish floating in a water stain. The fish symbolize the flow of life and emotions, while the water stains represent the private worlds that each being inhabits, those personal spheres of thought, desire and memory.
Through ephemeral and delicate compositions, I explore the connection between movement and stillness, between the individual and the universal. In this aquatic contemplation, life reveals itself as a constant flow in and out of our own bubbles.
The red fish I paint glide lightly with their sinuous and elegant movements in a gravity-free liquid sky. The fish as a universal archetypal element, as a link between the diverse worlds.
Fast and fleeting like clouds and thoughts, they embody the delicate balance between serenity and vital impulse.
I am interested in the boundary between the real world and the surreal world of my ever-transforming aquatic landscapes.

ABOUT ME
Born in Italy, on the island of Sardinia, in 1963, after stints in New York to study graphic design and later in Milan, I moved to Barcelona in 1991 to work as a graphic designer and here I began my artistic career which over time has become my profession, my passion and above all a vital need.

I have held solo and group exhibitions in several European cities and my works are in various private collections around the world.
My work is deeply rooted in nature and human emotions; my star theme is water and fish, two visual universes that share a symbolic intensity. The fascination with the fluidity and dynamism of water acts as the guiding thread of my creations and symbolizes constant transformation.
