Description from the seller
“Let’s drink” is a contemporary still life in oil on canvas that reinterprets daily domestic life with a sophisticated, modern aesthetic. The composition centers on a vibrant turquoise bar cart, beautifully balancing industrial design with the organic warmth of a cotton branch and indoor greenery.
With a loose yet precise brushstroke, the artist masterfully captures the textures and reflections of iconic spirit bottles. The luminous, neutral background enhances the rich colors of the foreground, creating an intimate and timeless atmosphere. A perfectly balanced piece, it is an excellent addition to modern realism collections or a stylish statement for contemporary homes and corporate spaces.

About the artist
Jesús López (Valencia, 1982) began oil painting at just nine or ten years old, a hobby he kept up until finishing primary school (EGB) and then placed on hold for many years. It was during the COVID pandemic that he returned to artistic creation through watercolor, a technique that allowed him to discover a visual language based on transparency, synthesis, and the active role of water in the creative process.
Following this reunion with painting, he decided to return to oil. He began as a self-taught artist before later training at Aguaespejo Estudio under the guidance of the artist Francisco Salas Quesada from Jaén. His work navigates between realism and impressionism, with a particular interest in everyday objects and scenes. His main influence is Joaquín Sorolla, drawing inspiration from his expressive brushstrokes and, of course, the light in his works.
His journey in painting has truly just begun.
