Painted with acrylic paints and acrylic ink on sturdy artist paper, multiple coats of varnish protect it.
The back bears my artist stamp, is dated, and signed again.

I am AniB – an artist with Latvian roots, living in Germany since 1990.
Today, my work almost exclusively emerges on paper. This more compact and calmer working method not only suits my creative process but is also a response to health challenges. It fits well with my daily life and gives me room to focus entirely on the subject.

My works often appear in small series and in changing styles – because for me, art lives on curiosity, not repetition.
I studied art and illustration in Riga, and since the 1990s I have worked professionally – with exhibitions in Germany and abroad.

I love creating characters with personality – beings that carry a little story within them. Sometimes whimsical, sometimes quietly contemplative, often with a wink.
