In a village where hunting is so passionate that no game lives nearby, the inhabitants tell hunting stories and throw their hats in the air to shoot the game. After spotting an Atlas lion in a traveling menagerie, Tartarin, the leader of the bonnet-wearing hunters, is compelled to undertake a hunting expedition in Algeria.
