The cast bars have a classic square cast bar design. Cast gold bars have the advantage over minted bars that their surface is less prone to scratches. A gold bar produced by the casting process can be confidently held in the hand, to weigh the high specific gravity of the 99.99% pure gold in your hand, without fear of damaging the bar or affecting it with fingerprints. Cast bars inherently have rounded edges and small solidification lines. This makes every Au bar a unique piece.
