Description from the seller
Painting on canvas subject: a beautiful view of a corner of Capri. The photo does not do it justice compared to the real thing!
Counterstamped authenticated with stamp and brochure. Tracked shipment. Pasquale Vuotto was born in Naples in 1958: he lives and works in Naples where in the first two years he trained at the Neapolitan Palizzi Academy, then for economic reasons he left his studies and, as a self-taught artist, followed the Posillipo school. He has exhibited in several cities; in 1979 he had two solo exhibitions in Stresa and participated in art competitions in Rome, Venice, and Naples, earning the praise of the public and of the critics. The painters Antonio Sannino and Ugo De Cesare and Antonio Durso, among others, have written about him. His works are in various private European collections in America and Turkey. The sedimentary emotional tensions in the interior during the ongoing confrontation with ambient reality emerge with unusual vibrations in Pasquale Vuotto's painting, defining themselves as essential elements of a figurative style inspired by significant aesthetic, human, and spiritual values, which in the act of painting find forms and colors suitable to manifest them with fertile incisiveness. The artist identifies with the natural world, in the various manifestations of the landscape, sometimes recomposing the forms with happy fantastical interventions; the artist provides intense modulations, such as to fully convey that sense of wonder, of poetic contemplation in which his feelings are found...
