Silver - Pendant

19th-century devotional cross in mother-of-pearl and solid silver. The suspension ring is stamped; the silver has also been tested with the appropriate acid (see photos). The cross is made of mother-of-pearl plaques with beautiful iridescent reflections, enhanced by a Christ in relief in silver applied to the front face.

Dimensions: about 7 cm tall by 3.6 cm wide. Maximum thickness about 1 cm with the Christ. Weight: about 7.5 g.

Good overall condition with light wear, small traces of time and use consistent with age. Some discreet marks and irregularities visible on the mother-of-pearl and the silver elements.

Old devotional object presenting a handsome presence and meticulous workmanship characteristic of the 19th century.
