The artist, distant from schools and trends, creates his works as a free man, following exclusively his own ideals and personal objectives.
In this painting on a textured base, the artist has drawn many colored bands and gradients that intertwine and overlap into a harmonious whole, all with warm and relaxing tones such as ochre yellow, brown, and white, … just as the Artist imagined them; it feels as though you are sitting under a porch, sheltered from the sun, reflecting on the twists of life or absorbed in a chess game.

Paolo Contin has had a long artistic career. He trained in design and since 1980 has worked in fashion and art. From 1999 he began to exhibit his works; in 2002 his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.
