BIOGRAPHY
Giuseppe Torre, born in 1956 in San Giorgio a Cremano (Naples). After obtaining the diploma of Technical Industrial Supervisor, he leaves studies to dedicate himself to work as a freelance photographer, and at the same time begins to nurture what has always been his passions: painting and sculpture. Self-taught painter and sculptor, over the years he has tried many techniques and trends, ultimately arriving at hyperrealism and sacred art. For years he has participated in regional and national group exhibitions, with notable public and critical success, but his solo shows have met equal favor. His works are present at the E. Greco Museum of Sabaudia (LT), at the Regina dei Gigli convent complex in San Giorgio a Cremano (NA), at the painting gallery of the Basilica of S. Alfonso in Pagani (SA), at the Kaahma Tanzanian Bishop’s House, and in numerous private collections.
