Description from the seller
This figurative work transports us to the radiant quiet of a Mediterranean summer. Leaning on the immaculate low wall of a balcony with an unassuming architecture, a stylish woman gazes toward the ocean horizon. Dressed in a black summer dress, a wide straw hat, and retro sunglasses, she embodies an timeless and enigmatic chic. By her side, on a small round table, a cocktail glass catches the noonday light, casting a sharp shadow that underscores the oppressive heat of the afternoon. The striking contrast between the architectural whiteness, the deep blue of the sea, and the dark silhouette sculpts a composition with Hopper-like accents. An invitation to escape, celebrating the sweetness of living and solitary contemplation in the face of the immensity.
