LeYack, Last Goodbye - Hand-signed, a 40 × 40 cm limited edition digital painting (print on canvas) of 20 numbered copies, created in 2022 in France, sold direct from the artist and signed by the artist on the front and back, with a certificate of authenticity and ready to be framed.
Description from the seller
A rural American airstrip, the golden late-afternoon light. A small white Cessna is at the center of the composition. A woman in a floral skirt rests her hand on the fuselage — a gesture of farewell or blessing. Her travel bag lies at her feet. In the background, a man in a pilot jacket walks away toward the hangar, back turned, not looking back.
Yack paints farewell in all its asymmetry — she touches the plane, he walks away. She stays, he leaves. The slanting evening light gives the scene a nearly sacred quality. This little airfield, nothing special, is the stage for an intimate drama we will never fully know.
