Blue Reflection - Hand-signed, a 40 x 40 cm pigment-based giclée on canvas by LeYack, is a limited edition of 20 numbered prints, hand-signed by the artist with a certificate of authenticity, produced in 2022 in France and sold directly by the artist, ready to frame.
Description from the seller
A cobbled square at night, bathed in a blue almost moonlit. A woman in a gray 1950s dress stands near a street lamp, gazing into the distance. At her feet, in a perfectly still puddle, her reflection — inverted, slightly distorted, darker than she is. The street lamp is reflected as well, its light doubled by the water, the square doubled by its own mirror.
Le Yack builds here an image of absolute duality — the woman and her liquid shadow, the city and its inverted double. The blue that invades everything is unreal and perfectly right at the same time: it is the color of night as we remember it, not as it is.
