Ice Cream on the Shore - Hand signed is a 40 x 40 cm giclée on canvas by Le Yack, limited to 20 individually numbered copies, signed by the artist, produced in France in 2026, in excellent condition, sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
On a white-sand beach, facing a sea of absolute blue, a man in a brown suit and boater hat stands before a woman in a blue dress and a wide sun hat. She holds an ice cream. He holds something too—but he is looking at her. The sea lies flat as a mirror, the sky almost white with heat. Nothing moves, except perhaps what is happening between them.
Le Yack excels at painting these moments of suspended sociability—two people in a public space, alone in the world. The brown/blue palette exudes restrained elegance. The sharp shadows on the white sand give the scene the stillness of a hand-colored old photograph. An ice cream, a hat, the sea: it’s all that’s needed to narrate a beginning.
