Original abstract expressionist acrylic painting by Jovan Srijemac (born 1962), titled John Doe - XXL, an original edition created in 2026 in the Netherlands, signed by the artist, in excellent condition, measuring 120 x 105 cm (unframed) with a framed image size of 110 x 95 cm once mounted, supplied with a certificate of authenticity and sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
A unique large abstract painting from the series 'Abstract face' with total canvas size (including extra white borders) 120 x 105 x 0.1 cm. The work was painted in 2026. The painting is shipped rolled, without a stretcher frame. Once mounted on the frame, the canvas size (framed) is 110 x 95 x 2 cm. The dynamism, expressiveness, and freedom of the artist's artistic expression are clearly visible.
NOTE: For buyers from the Netherlands who want to pick up the painting themselves, it is possible, by arrangement and for a fee, to have the canvas stretched onto the stretcher frame.
In this work I let loose my deepest emotions, causing bold colors and powerful brushstrokes to cross each other in a dynamic dance. Through the chaos, a sense of harmony emerges. The paint is applied on canvas in diverse layers with expressiveness and a lot of dynamism. The work is painted with acrylic paint on XXL canvas. Varnished, and with a certificate of authenticity.
Original, very unique abstract expressionist work by Dutch professional/contemporary artist (since the early 1980s) Jovan Srijemac (1962). This work fits well in a modern interior or office space. The condition of the work is excellent, varnished, with a certificate of authenticity.
The chaos of ideas that have arisen in my head, the inner depleted energy, wants to erupt outward like a volcano, turning into an explosion and a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed with matter, figures, faces or an abstract composition.
From the unconscious, often chaotic and explosive application of paint on the canvas, arise initially unplanned figures, objects, portraits or an abstract composition. Like the unplanned conception of a child: birth, growing up, to personality development and life. Often carelessly conceived, we are born, we grow up, and we are all framed within the body, our frame, but each is unique in its own way.
