Shot on the set of Barbarella with Jane Fonda, the 1968 film directed by Roger Vadim, a science fiction comedy based on the eponymous comic by Jean-Claude Forest.
The photo is digitally printed on Hahnemuhle cotton photo paper, ultra smooth, 305gsm. 4 cm passepartout. Archival inks guaranteed for 150 years. Photograph with the original signature and stamp of the artist.
The photos are presented at auction in low resolution to prevent unauthorised reproductions; photos shipped to buyers will be reproduced from the originals in high resolution for optimal printing.
Emilio Lari was born in Rome in 1939, a set photographer from 1960 to the present. In 1960 his passion for photography led him to join the Press Office team of Luigi Pratuloni (then the set photographer for Federico Fellini's "La Dolce Vita").
Subsequently he was sent to London to photograph the new group, the Beatles, at the height of their early success. A master of photographic light, Emilio has worked on over 140 films.
