XTC's Extincteur Tabasco Scorpion is a 2026 aluminium sculpture, edition 20/30, painted entirely with spray paints and varnish, signed on the back, produced in France and in excellent condition, measuring 30 cm high, 8.5 cm wide and 8.5 cm deep with a COA supplied.
Description from the seller
Fire extinguisher Tabasco Scorpion by XTC.
Entirely painted with spray paints and varnish, no stickers, even the label is entirely painted for a uniform result and better durability over time.
Numbered 1/30 and signed on the back, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The copy sent is not necessarily the one shown in the photo.
Careful and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in central France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has evolved into a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the appropriation of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption, which he makes clash with the world of luxury and street art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of plastics and sometimes mineral materials.
All possible defects or imperfections (recycled fire extinguisher) are an integral part of the work.
Empty extinguisher. (Obviously it is forbidden to sell a full extinguisher whose safety labels and/or the pull pin would be missing)
